Anton Zemann (architect)
Anton Zemann (born February 9, 1925 in Freistadt ; † July 4, 1991 there ) was an Austrian architect .
Life
After completing his studies, he designed the fountain on the market in Königswiesen in 1953. He was mainly active in church building. Extensions, additions, conversions and several new buildings are among his work. In 1993 a plaque was placed on the church in Pichling near Linz in memory of him.

- 1953 Design of the bowl at the market fountain in Königswiesen , made by the sculptor Gottfried Pöchinger, with 4 head reliefs depicting the seasons

- 1962–1963 New construction of the Church of St. Josef in Hackstock in Unterweissenbach
- 1964–1965 Extension and baptistery and confessional chapel of the parish church of St. Apostle Andreas in Mitterkirchen im Machland
- 1966 Expansion of the parish church of the Annunciation in Spittal an der Drau
- 1967 Extension of the nave to the west and redesign of the old building with extension of the triumphal arch to the width of the choir of the parish church Petrus und Paulus in Tragwein
- 1967–1968 North extension to the parish church of St. Aegidius in Schenkenfelden
- 1968 New construction of the subsidiary church Zum Guten Hirten in Spittal an der Drau
- 1968–1969 eastward expansion with demolition of the Gothic baroque choir and demolition of the Gothic west gallery of the parish church in Schönau im Mühlkreis
- 1969–1970 Expansion of the parish church of the Assumption of Mary in Rainbach im Mühlkreis
- 1969–1970 New construction of a nave and a retracted old room, leaving the church tower, the west facade and a chapel of the parish church of St. Martin in Ferlach
- 1971–1972 Expansion of the parish church of St. Ulrich in Weitersfelden
- 1973 New construction of the Christ Friedenskönig church in Eisentratten in Krems in Carinthia
- 1973 New construction of the parish church in Klagenfurt-Welzenegg , rebuilt from 1989–1993 by Felix Orsini-Rosenberg and Franz Freytag
