Antonello Bacciocchi

Antonello Bacciocchi (* 1957 ) is a San Marinese politician of the Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici (PSD).

Life and politics

Antonello Bacciocchi works as a surveyor. He is married and has two children.

He was from April 1 to October 1, 1999 and from October 1, 2005 to April 1, 2006 Capitano Reggente (Head of State). Within the socialist party PSS, he held the post of deputy general secretary from 1999 to 2001 before it was renamed the PSD. Within the Consiglio Grande e Generale (Parliament of San Marino), in which he was a member from 1998 to 208, he was deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party from 2001 to 2003. In the center-left coalition, which has ruled since 2006, he was Minister of Labor (Segretario di Stato al Lavoro, alla cooperazione e alle politiche giovanili) from July 2006 to November 2007 , and then Minister for Tourism and Sport until the end of the legislative period in December 2008 (Segretario di Stato al Lavoro, alla cooperazione e alle politiche giovanili) . In the parliamentary elections in November 2008, he failed to return to parliament with 22nd place on the list of the PSD, which won 18 seats.

Bacciocchi is married and has a daughter and a son.
