Antonin Pellegrini (born February 8, 1993 ) is a French cross-country skier . He has been taking part in roller-ski competitions since 2013 .

Career

Pellegrini began his international career with starts in FIS junior races in 2011 and 2012, in which he achieved various top placings. In December 2012 he started the junior race in St. Ulrich am Pillersee for the first time outside of France. From July 2013 he started in the Junior Rollerski World Cup and was already on the podium in the second race in Tripoli . At the Rollerski World Championships 2013 in Bad Peterstal , Pellegrini started as a junior and ran in sixth place over 17.5 km and seventh place in the sprint.

In December 2013 he started in Bessans for the first time as a senior in FIS races and was able to achieve middle placements. It remained his only starts in the winter of 2013/14. Only at the French championships at the end of the season in Prémanon did Pellegrini start again, but did not get past 23rd place. In the Rollerski World Cup 2014 Pellegrini started with a ninth place in the sprint in Sollefteå . In Val di Fiemme he started the team sprint for the first time at the end of the season and finished eighth with Clément Mailler . Previously, he had already achieved a good result in 13th place in the sprint. On February 7th, 2015 he started in the cross-country skiing marathon cup at the Transjurassienne in Lamoura and finished 17th in the points.

At the Rollerski World Championships 2015 in Val di Fiemme , Pellegrini was part of the French starting field and achieved 22nd place in the 10 km classic mountain run. In the sprint he reached 11th place. Pellegrini had to break off the mass start race over 25 km.
