Antonio Luigi Piatti

Antonio Luigi Piatti (born May 31, 1782 in Rome , † February 19, 1841 ibid) was an Italian Curial Archbishop of the Roman Church and from 1833 until his death vice-gentleman of the Diocese of Rome .

Life

Antonio Piatti received on 30 November 1804 sacrament of ordination by Giovanni Filippo Cardinal Gallarati Scotti .

On 13 August 1804 it appointed Pope Pius VII. To Titular Archbishop of Trapezus . He received his episcopal consecration on August 19, 1821, the Cardinal Dean Giulio Maria della Somaglia ; Co- consecrators were Pietro Cardinal Caprano and the Archbishop of Urbino , Ignazio Ranaldi CO . In 1837 Piatti was named titular patriarch of Antioch .

Under Pope Gregory XVI. he was vice- gentleman of the diocese of Rome and thus deputy of the cardinal vicar from February 5, 1833 until his death in 1841.
