Antonio Menegazzo
Antonio Menegazzo MCCJ (born September 13, 1931 in Cittadella ; † March 20, 2019 ibid) was Apostolic Administrator of El Obeid .
Life
Antonio Menegazzo joined the order of the Comboni Missionaries and was ordained a priest on June 15, 1956 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Apostolic Administrator of El Obeid and Titular Bishop of Mesarfelta on December 15, 1995 .
The Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Sudan and Apostolic Delegate in Somalia , Erwin Josef Ender , donated him episcopal ordination on March 3 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Gabriel Zubeir Wako , Archbishop of Khartoum , and Vincent Mojwok Nyiker , Bishop of Malakal .
On August 15, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
