Antonio Rossi Vaccari

Antonio Rossi Vaccari (born December 12, 1808 in Rome , † November 22, 1874 there ) was an Italian bishop of the Curia .

Life

The son of Giuseppe Rossi Vaccari received the sacrament of ordination on September 8, 1831, after which he became a canon of the Lateran Basilica . Around 1840 he entered the service of the Curia and in 1844 became the house prelate of His Holiness . Pope Gregory XVI appointed him in 1845 to the papal property administration. 14 years later Pope Pius IX appointed. him auditor of the cardinal chamberlain . On June 25, 1866, Antonio Rossi Vaccari was appointed titular archbishop of Colossae . He received his episcopal ordination on July 1st of the same year by the Cardinal Bishop of Albano , Lodovico Altieri ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Pietro de Villanova Castellacci and Archbishop Salvatore Nobili Vitelleschi , Bishop of Osimo and Cingoli . Antonio Rossi Vaccari was the councilor of the First Vatican Council (1869-1870). He died as dean of the chapter of the Lateran Basilica.
