Antonio Santarsiero Rosa

Antonio Santarsiero Rosa OSI (born June 13, 1951 in Avigliano , Italy ) is Bishop of Huacho .

Life

Antonio Santarsiero Rosa joined the Order of the Oblates of Saint Joseph in 1973 . He studied philosophy and theology at the Facultad de Teología Pontificia y Civil in Lima. He was ordained a priest on June 14, 1980 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him prelate of Huari on June 13, 2001 . The Archbishop of Lima , Juan Luis Cardinal Cipriani Thorne , donated him episcopal ordination on August 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Rino Passigato , Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , and Dante Frasnelli Tarter OSI, Prelate Emeritus of Huari.

He was named bishop of Huacho on February 4, 2004, and initiated into office on April 25 of the same year.
