The Diocese of Huacho ( Latin Dioecesis Huachensis , Spanish diócesis de Huacho ) is to the west of Peru located Roman Catholic diocese based in Huacho .

The diocese of Huacho comprises the six provinces of Barranca , Cajatambo , Canta , Huaral , Huaura and Oyón in the Lima region .

history

The Diocese of Huacho was on May 15, 1958 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Egregia quidem from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Lima and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
