Apollonios von Kition was a Greek doctor from the city of Kition in Cyprus . He worked as a surgeon and medical writer in the 1st century BC. Chr.

Apollonios belonged to the school of empiricists . He studied with and with Zopyros in Alexandria and later lived as a doctor in his hometown. He is the author of a commentary on Hippocrates' Peri arthrōn (About joints) in three books, the first of which was dedicated to King Ptolemy of Cyprus († 58 BC). It was provided with illustrations to illustrate the restraint methods discussed by Hippocrates. In addition, a polemical work against Baccheius of Tanagra, a refutation of the criticism of Herakleides of Taranto of Baccheius of Tanagra, a Hippocrates commentary and two books on therapeutics are attested.
