Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines
The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines is the permanent representative of the Holy See (i.e. the Pope as subject of international law) to the government of the Republic of the Philippines .
History of the Nunciature
The nunciature has existed in Manila since 1902 with interruptions . The apostolic nuncio has the rank of ambassador and is doyen of the diplomatic corps.
