The Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan ( lat. : Apostolicus Vicariatus Calapanensis ) is in the Philippines located Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate based in Calapan . It includes the Oriental Mindoro Province .
history
Pope Pius XI founded on July 2, 1936 the Apostolic Prefecture Mindoro from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Lipa . On July 12, 1951, she was raised to the Apostolic Vicariate Calapan and lost on January 27, 1983 part of the territory to the Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose in Mindoro .
