The Arçon is a river in France that runs through the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. It rises in the municipal area of Saint-Bonnet-des-Quarts , generally drains in a north-easterly direction and after 28 kilometers flows into the Loire as a left tributary in the municipality of Artaix . In his mouth portion of the Arçon passes under shipping channel Canal de Roanne à Digoin . On its way, the river crosses the Loire and Saône-et-Loire departments .
