Arıca ( Aramaic Kafro Elayto , also Kafro Helayto ) is a Christian-Aramaic village in the Turkish province of Batman in the Gercüş district in Tur Abdin .

Place name

Kafro is the Aramaic word for village . To distinguish them from a nearby village of the same name, the two places were designated with Tahtayto (lower) and Helayto (upper). The lower village is about 26 km as the crow flies further south.
