Araj Huma (also Arax Uma ) is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Araj Huma is located in the province of Gualberto Villarroel in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of San Pedro de Curahuara . The village is located at an altitude of 3745  m , ten kilometers south of the Río Desaguadero and 30 kilometers west of the Serranía de Huayllamarca ridge .

Araj Huma is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. The region's climate is typical of the time of day , in which the mean daily temperature fluctuations are greater than the seasonal temperature fluctuations.
