Archdale is a town in the state of North Carolina in the United States of America and is located in Randolph Counties and Guilford Counties . Archdale had 9,014 residents in 2000.
history
Archdale, formerly Bush Hill, was initially a predominantly Quaker settlement and was named Archdale in honor of John Archdale, an early governor who was also a Quaker. The official registration took place in July 1969.

According to the 2000 census, 9,014 people in 3,743 households and 2,623 families lived here. The population density is 444.5 inhabitants per km².
