The Arcondo nunatak is a 780 m high and isolated nunatak in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . It rises 8 km south of Mount Spann in the Panzarini Hills of the Argentina Range in the Pensacola Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs from the United States Navy between 1956 and 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Pedro Pascual Arcondo, Major of the Armed Forces of Argentina , commanding officer at Belgrano I station between 1959 and 1961 and first Argentine parachutist in Antarctica, who died on January 31, 1962 in an accident in Antarctica.
