The Arcueil  [ aʁ.kœj ] is a river in France that runs in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the northern part of the Margeride landscape , in the municipality of Védrines-Saint-Loup , drains around half of its course towards the northwest, but then turns to the northeast and after 38 kilometers flows into the Alagnon as a right tributary in the municipality of Massiac .
