Arenstorff even Arnstorff , is the name of Märkisch en Uradelsgeschlechts from the Uckermark .

history

The family first appears in a document on September 29, 1306 with Ludolf de Arndesdorp . with which the stem row begins. From the second half of the 14th century until 1668, the family owned the Altkünkendorf estate in Uckermark .

The family received the Danish nobility naturalization on April 24, 1670 for Friedrich von Arenstorff , who later became the royal Danish commanding general, privy councilor and governor of Schleswig and Holstein . The Danish branch died out on April 30, 1997. A cognatic line continues the name.

In Einschreibebuch of Dobbertin Abbey there are 13 entries of daughters of the family of A (h) renstorff 1723-1910 of crumbs (Lärz) , Sadelkow and Oyle in the county Hoja for inclusion in the noble Damenstift in Kloster Dobbertin .

The Lower Saxony goods Oyle and Lohe came in 1790 through the marriage of Charlotte Johanne v. Püchler with Georg Ernst Adam v. Arenstorff is family-owned and is still managed by the family to this day.

In blue 3 (2,1) silver lilies , accompanied by 3 silver portcullis growing out of the upper or lower edge of the shield . On the helmet with blue-silver covers a gold-crowned natural bear with a collar growing out of a five-part portcullis.

  • Friedrich von Arensdorff (1626–1689), the brother of the previous one, commanding general in the armies of Denmark and Sweden and also the governor of Schleswig and Holstein
