The Arga-Sala ( Russian Арга-Сала ; Yakut Арҕаа Салаа , Arghaa Salaa ) is a 503 km long left tributary of the Olenjok in the Krasnoyarsk region and the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in Russia .
The Arga-Sala arises in the central Siberian mountainous region , in the north of the former autonomous district of the Evenki a good 450 km as the crow flies north-northeast of its center Tura , from the source rivers Prawaja Arga-Sala (right Arga-Sala, length 51 km) and Lewaja Arga-Sala ( Left Arga-Sala, 47 km), which in turn arises from a 13 km long nameless watercourse and the 17 km long Chopkokta. The source rivers arise at heights between 350 and 500 m . The Arga-Sala flows through the Central Siberian mountains in wide arches meandering in a predominantly eastern direction. The relatively narrow valley crosses the distribution area of the Siberian trap and is therefore rocky in many places and rich in rapids . They eventually flows upstream and some 10 km south-west of the village Olenjok away in the Olenjok.
The catchment area of the river covers 47,700 km². The most important tributaries are Kukussunda (length 270 km), Kjuenechekjan (also Kjujonelekeen 205 km) and Kengede (also Kende; 241 km) from the left and the Kjuenelikjan (also Kjujonelikeen, 94 km) from the right .
The Arga-Sala flows through a very sparsely populated area without any infrastructure. There are no towns on the river.
