Arianne Phillips (born April 26, 1963 in New York City ) is an American costume designer .

Life

Since the 1990s she has been involved in various cinema productions as a costume designer. This included films like Tank Girl , Durchgeknallt or One Hour Photo . She received her first Oscar nomination in 2006 for her work on the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line . In addition to a nomination for the costumes in the film A Single Man at the BAFTA Awards , Phillips received her second Oscar nomination for the film WE in 2012

Arianne Philips also works as a costume stylist for Madonna . She designed the costumes for Madonna's past four tours. She has also been active for other pop artists such as Justin Timberlake , Lenny Kravitz or No Doubt .

In addition, Phillips was for the costumes in the film A Single Man by Tom Ford nominated for a BAFTA award.
