Arise Records was a Spanish music label from Bilbao , whose focus was in particular on bands from the fields of power metal and related varieties (including Axenstar , Dark Moor and Labyrinth ) as well as death metal / melodic death metal (including Blind Stare , Mourning Caress and Skyfire ).

Geographically, the focus was in southern Europe in Italy and Spain and in northern Europe in particular in Sweden and also Finland and Germany. One of the few exceptions is the re-release of a compilation by Viper , a band from Brazil .

At the end of 2005, about two months after the cancellation of the joint tour of the Arise Records band Raintime with Royal Hunt and Secret Sphere at the beginning of October, the label filed for bankruptcy. In a later interview, the singer of the then-signed band Freternia stated that Arise Records had suffered from the illegal distribution of music on the Internet.
