Arma Gathas is a German metal band founded by Simon Füllemann at the end of 2006 . On April 27, 2010, their debut album Dead to This World was released on Metal Blade Records .
history
Originally, Arma Gathas was just a side project of Füllemann, who is among other things a founding member of Cataract . At the beginning of 2009 the band took on concrete traits and Ché Selting (ex- Born from Pain ), as well as Marc Niedersberg ( Machinemade God ) and Max von Winkelhoff (ex-Disloyal) became permanent members of the band. With Alex “Lahnsteiner” Härtel ( Blessed by Hate ), the lineup has been complete since the end of January 2010.
Dead to This World
The concept album Dead to This World contains 13 songs that were composed by Simon Füllemann. Ché Snelting is responsible for the lyrics. The album was recorded together with Sky van Hoff ( Caliban , Machinemade God), who was also responsible for the final mix. The mastering of the debut album was done by Alan Douches ( Suffocation , Beneath the Massacre ). Thomas Ewerhardt, who has already worked with bands like Amon Amarth and Brainstorm , is responsible for the album's artwork .
