Armando Gentilucci
Armando Gentilucci (born October 8, 1939 in Lecce , Province of Lecce , † November 1989 in Milan ) was an Italian composer , conductor and essayist .
Life
After attending school, he studied at the Conservatory in Milan with Bruno Bettinelli and Franco Donatoni and then worked as a lecturer at the Conservatories in Bolzano and Milan. He was then director of the Reggio nell'Emilia Music Institute from 1969 until his death .
Gentilucci, who also worked as a conductor and essayist, created numerous compositions for symphony orchestras and ensembles , but also individual instruments. He dedicated some of his works to the clarinetist Ciro Scarponi . His compositions include:
