Armin Krauße

Armin Robert Hermann Krauße (born August 30, 1935 in Leipzig ; † December 6, 2019 ) was a German mining engineer and university professor .

Life

Armin Krauße graduated from high school in Markkleeberg in 1953 and then completed an internship in ore, hard coal and lignite mining. From 1954 he studied mining / civil engineering at the Bergakademie Freiberg , in 1959 he obtained his diploma. Until 1964 he then worked as a scientific assistant at the Institute for Mining / Civil Engineering at the Bergakademie. Between 1964 and 1966 he worked as a research assistant at the Geomechanics Department of the GDR Academy of Sciences .

From 1966 to 1969 Armin Krauße worked as a senior research assistant at the Bergakademie Freiberg. In 1978 he became a Dr.-Ing. doctorate, he acquired his teaching qualification in 1981. From 1979 to 1982 he worked in the coal mining industry in Moatize ( Mozambique ). On February 1, 1982 he was appointed lecturer for mining processes and pit construction by the Freiberg Mining Academy, and at the same time he became head of the geotechnical field. On March 17, 1987, he received his doctorate B, the degree Dr. sc. techn., who graduated from Dr.-Ing. habil. was converted. In 1987 he was appointed associate professor, and in 2000 he retired.
