Arnaud Siffert (born December 6, 1978 in Longjumeau ) is a former French handball player .

Career

Arnaud Siffert began playing handball at the age of seven. In his youth, the handball goalkeeper played in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge and Massy . In 2000, Paris Handball signed him. With the capital city, he was in the final of the French Cup in 2001 and the League Cup in 2005 and 2006. Internationally, he played in the EHF Challenge Cup 2001/02 and 2002/03, the EHF Cup 2003/04 and 2004/05 and in the EHF Champions League 2005/06. After six years he moved to Dunkerque HBGL , with whom he took part in the EHF Cup in 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2009/10. In 2011 he celebrated his first title in the cup. He then went to HBC Nantes , with whom he competed again in the EHF Cup in 2011/12. In the EHF Europa Pokal 2012/13 he reached the Final Four in Nantes , but lost to the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the final . Since 2013 he has been playing for the French record champions Montpellier Handball , with whom he won the league cup in 2014 and 2016 and the French cup in 2016. In the EHF Europa Pokal 2013/14 he was again in the final, but this time had to admit defeat to the Hungarian pick Szeged . His contract was extended to summer 2016 in April 2014. He then returned to HBC Nantes. He ended his career after the 2018/19 season.
