The Arnette (in the upper reaches: Rec du Cuin ) is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises in the Montagne Noire , on the south-western flank of the Pic de Nore (1211 m), in the municipality of Pradelles-Cabardès , first drains in a south-westerly direction, then swings to the north-west, crosses the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park and flows into a total of around 26 Kilometers on the outskirts of Mazamet as a left tributary into the Thoré . On its way, the Arnette touches the Aude and Tarn departments .
