Arnoldas Kulboka (born January 4, 1998 in Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian basketball player who is currently under contract with CB Bilbao Berri .

career

Kulboka enjoyed his basketball training with Žalgiris Kaunas , and in 2015 he moved to Brose Bamberg in Germany. In his two years in Germany he played a game in the basketball league and was mostly used within the Bamberg youth development system at FC Baunach and in the youth basketball league . In 2016 he became German U19 champions with TSV Breitengüßbach . In Baunach he triumphed during the second division season 2016/17 with an average of 14.7 points per game and was the team's best distance thrower with 56 threesomes hit.

In 2017 Kulboka switched to the Italian first division club Capo d'Orlando , for whom he scored an average of 8.3 points in 30 league appearances over the course of the 2017/18 season. He also competed with the team in the Champions League and was named the best young player of the 2017/18 season in the European club competition. In the NBA draft process in June 2018, the Charlotte Hornets secured the rights to the Lithuanian in 55th place in the second selection round.

He returned to Bamberg for the 2018/19 season, stayed for another year before joining the Spanish first division club CB Bilbao Berri .

National team

In 2015 he finished third with the Lithuanian national team at the U18 European Championship, and in 2016 he won silver in the same age group. In 2017 he competed with Lithuania's U19 team at the World Cup in Cairo and was the second best scorer in his team with 13.7 points per game.
