The Arnsbach rises in the Mühlwald forest on the Kesselberg east of Usingen -Merzhausen (still within the Usingen district). It then flows through the Neu-Anspach district of Hausen-Arnsbach and finally flows into the Usa from the left at the northern entrance to Neu-Anspach-Westerfeld - Usinger Strasse .
