Arnulf Borsche

Arnulf Borsche (born March 15, 1928 in Frankfurt am Main ; † June 19, 2011 in Kronberg im Taunus ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life outside of politics

After a short break as an air force helper, Arnulf Borsche graduated from high school in 1946. In the following years he studied to become a teacher at the University of Frankfurt . From 1954 he worked for Nestlé Deutschland AG , where he rose to become an authorized signatory and head of department. Borsche was on the board of a number of clubs. From 1961 he was a member of the board of trustees of the blind institution in Frankfurt am Main. From 1993 he was chairman there.

Borsche was married and had three children. He was largely related to the actor Dieter Borsche .

politics

Arnulf Borsche was a member of the CDU and held various party offices there. For many years he was deputy district chairman of the Frankfurt CDU. He was honorary chairman of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU Hessen, which he chaired for many years. 1960 to 1962 he was a city councilor in Frankfurt. From December 1, 1962 to November 30, 1982, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for five electoral terms. The focus of his work was cultural policy. He was a member of the Federal Assembly in 1964 and 1969 .
