badges and flags
In the upper blue field a church can be seen between a rosary and a flower. Below that, a tower rises between two telegraph masts over green hills. A golden fish swims beneath blue and silver waves. Above the shield is a crown with three spiers as spikes. The motto Arroyo Pueblo Grato (Arroyo, the appealing city) is emblazoned on a banner .
The flag has two horizontal stripes of the same size. The colors orange and black are reminiscent of a past full of adventure and achievement. The coat of arms is shown in the center.
