The Arroyo de Otazo is a river in eastern Uruguay .

The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Laguna Merín, rises a few kilometers south-southwest of Puntas del Parao in the Cuchilla Grande . Not far to the southeast is the source of the Arroyo del Parao. It runs in the field of departments Treinta y Tres initially in a southerly direction and passes west of the Cerro de la Tuna Sola , then it changes its flow direction to the east. It finally flows into the Arroyo del Parao a few kilometers northwest of Vergara as a right-hand tributary .
