Arthur "Art" O'Connor (* 1888 in Celbridge , County Kildare , † May 10, 1950 ibid) was an Irish politician of the Sinn Féin .

biography

O'Connor, who was a civil engineer and architect by profession , became a member of the First House of Commons ( 1st Dáil ) in 1919 as a representative of the Sinn Féin and belonged to this first as a representative of the Kildare South constituency and then from 1921 to 1922 of the Kildare-Wicklow constituency on.

During this time he was first from March 11 to June 29, 1920 Deputy Director of Agriculture and thus de facto the representative of Agriculture Minister Robert Childers Barton .
