Arthur Sadina

Arthur Sadina (born February 8, 1881 in Wiesenbad , Erzgebirge , † September 14, 1971 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Arthur Sadina attended elementary school , later a trade school and did an apprenticeship as a photographer . In 1907 he joined the SPD and the Association of Lithographers and Stone Printers. He was a soldier in the First World War . In 1918 he became chairman of the soldiers' council of the Artillery Flying School East I in Alt-Autz in Courland . In the Weimar Republic , Sadina was a union secretary. After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , he did illegal work.

After the Second World War , Sadina was elected to the district assembly in the Neukölln district in the first Berlin election in 1946 , but three months later he moved to the city ​​assembly of Greater Berlin . Since Kurt Exner continued to be the district mayor, Sadina moved again to the Berlin House of Representatives in March 1951 . In 1954 he resigned from parliament for reasons of age.
