Artem Vladimirovich Argokow ( Kazakh Артём Владимирович Аргоков * 16th January 1976 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakhstan SSR ) is a former Kazakh ice hockey player who played in various Russian and Kazakh clubs and with the Kazakh national team at the 2006 Winter Olympics and three World Championships of Top division participated.

Career

Artyom Argokov began his career in 1995 in the Russian first division at Metallurg Novokuznetsk . In 1998 the defender moved to the Russian club HK Lada Tolyatti , where he only played one season. Then he was committed by the Russian first division club Amur Khabarovsk for a season. Another stop was HK Tractor Chelyabinsk . Argokow was under contract from 2006 to 2010 and 2014 to 2015 with his hometown club Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk from Kazakhstan. He previously played for the club from 2002 to 2005.

For the 2010/11 season Argokow joined the HK Beibarys Atyrau from the Kazakh championship , where he played until 2014.

International

In the junior area Argokow played at the U18 championships of Asia and Oceania in 1994 , in which the Kazakhs could win the title.

For Kazakhstan , Argokov took part in the 1999 B World Cup , the Division I World Championships in 2003 , when he had the best plus / minus balance of the tournament, and in 2008 , when he was voted the best defender of the tournament, and the World Championships of the top Division in 2004 , 2005 and 2006 . He was also in his country's squad at the 2007 Asian Winter Games , where he and his team won the silver medal. He also played in the qualifying tournaments for the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2006 Winter Games in Turin himself.
