  • Michael Haerdter wrote in the catalog foreword to the exhibition Nachwelten at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin in 1982: " " His art serves to open our eyes to us "" Artur Laskus, the long-time guest in England, is at the same time a master of irony and understatement . A moralist without a raised index finger, an uncomfortable artist who, however, does not impose himself loudly on us. " (Michael Haerdter, March 1982)
  • In his comments on Artur Laskus' pictures in the catalog for the exhibition Die Kälte des Nahen in the Kunsthalle Bremen , 1982, Hermann Sturm said : “The presentation of the message - if it is designed - is presented with great care and discreet meticulousness. This care, which focuses on both content and form, results in precision and, last but not least, the convincing effect and also the uncomfortable beauty of the sheets and pictures. "
