Arturo Capdevila

Arturo Capdevila (born March 14, 1889 in Córdoba , Province of Córdoba , † December 20, 1967 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine lecturer, lawyer and writer.

Capdevila studied at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and could this study in 1913 with his promotion to Dr. jur. successfully complete. He then worked as a lawyer for some time. Later he accepted a position at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and worked there until 1947 as “Prof. for Argentine literature ”.

He was a member of the Academia Argentina de Letras and the Academia Nacional de Historia . In 1948 he was awarded the Gran Premio de Honor de la SADE .
