The river in Vorey

The Arzon is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Medeyrolles and generally drains south to south-east through the Velay landscape . South of Chomelix , the deeply cut gorges of the Arzon (French: Gorges de l'Arzon ) form a Natura 2000 reserve. After 44 kilometers, the river flows into Vorey as a left tributary into the upper reaches of the Loire . On its way, the Arzon crosses the Puy-de-Dôme and Haute-Loire departments .
