The 2015/16 season was the 13th season of the Asia League Ice Hockey , the highest East Asian ice hockey division . Anyang Halla became champion for the third time in the club's history .

mode

As in the previous year, nine teams (four from Japan, three from South Korea and one each from China and from the island of Sakhalin in the far east of Russia) took part in the league. In the regular season, each of the nine teams played a total of 48 games. The six best-placed teams of the regular season qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime or shootout, one point for a defeat after overtime or shootout and zero points for a defeat after regular time.

Anyang Halla's goalkeeper Matt Dalton was voted the most valuable player in the playoffs . Their coach Jirí Veber was named the best head coach.
