Atlantique Stade Rochelais is a rugby union club from the French city of La Rochelle in the Charente-Maritime department . He plays in the top 14 league .

The club plays its home games at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre . This is named after Marcel Deflandre, the club president at the time of the Second World War, who was active in the Resistance and was executed by the Gestapo in Bordeaux in January 1944 .

At the end of the 2009/10 season, the club made it from the Pro D2 to the top 14 league , but could only hold there for one season. In 2014 the rise was successful.
