The Auer Bach is a left tributary of the Wupper in the Barmen district of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Wuppertal .
Location and topography
The Auer Bach rises at 321 meters above sea level. NN on the flank of the Lichtscheid ridge (350 meters above sea level) in the Lichtenplatz residential area . It flows through a pronounced Kerbtal towards the north, receives a tributary from the Brassiepen, passes under the sports fields on Oberbergische Straße and flows above ground to the residential development in the valley of the Wuppertal.
Verdolt, the Auer Bach crosses under the Elberfeld – Dortmund railway line and Bundesstraße 7 and ends after approx. 2100 meters at 145 meters above sea level. NN in the Wupper .
