August Friedrich Georg Eichrodt (born November 1, 1800 in Durlach ; † November 27, 1856 in Karlsruhe ; Protestant) was a lawyer in the Baden state service since 1823 and was retired on July 29, 1852 due to health reasons.

August Eichrodt was the son of Major General Karl Friedrich Eichrodt (born March 10, 1754 in Karlsruhe, † April 13, 1813 in Rastatt ) and Maria Susette Henriette nee Authing. He had been married to Karoline nee Bassermann since April 1831.

Life

Eichrodt studied law at the University of Heidelberg from the winter semester 1818/19 and joined the Corps Suevia there. On November 25, 1822 he became a legal intern . On March 8, 1823, he was employed as State Ministerial Chancellor and from September 7, 1825, he was a district assessor at the Neckar district directorate in Mannheim . On June 19, 1829 he was appointed bailiff at the Kork District Office (until 1881, then Kehl District Office ) there on May 1, 1836 as senior bailiff. From November 11, 1840, he was senior administrator at the Bretten district office and then from March 4, 1843 in the same position at the Konstanz district office and finally from December 29, 1843 at the Durlach district office . On June 2, 1851, he became city ​​director in Heidelberg and retired on July 29, 1852 for health reasons. His successor in Heidelberg was Mariano von Uria .
