Augustin Kolberg

Augustin Kolberg (born January 31, 1835 in Tolkemit ; † February 6, 1909 in Frauenburg ) was a Catholic theologian and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kolberg attended grammar school and lyceum in Braunsberg . He studied theology and canon law at the Pontifical Seminary in Rome . In 1858 he was ordained a priest. Afterwards he was subregens and librarian in the seminary in Braunsberg and from 1899 cathedral dean in Frauenburg. From 1877 to 1885 he was a member of the state parliament for the constituency of Königsberg 5 (Braunsberg - Heilsberg).

From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the German Center Party for the Reichstag constituency, administrative region Königsberg 6 (Braunsberg-Heilsberg) .
