Australian Boxing Championships
The Australian Championships are the most important and important Australian / Oceanic competitions in boxing . They have been held at relatively irregular intervals since 1969 and are organized by the AIBA . The first competitions took place in Sydney in 10 weight classes. In 2002, women's competitions were held for the first time in four weight classes. In 1984 the competitions were exceptionally not held in Australia / Oceania , but in Taiwan .
