geography

course

The Auw arises from the confluence of the Schlausenbach and Fronsbach to the southwest of Kobscheid . Some consider the Schlausenbach only to be a name for the upper reaches of the Auw. Shortly afterwards, the water is fed by the Taufenbach. The Auw flows past the Schmitzknopf on the left and then flows through a small lake. At Wildenheld he is strengthened by the Tannebach. In the further course it forms the border between Germany and Belgium. The stream finally flows into the Our north of Auw .
