Axel Michon (born December 16, 1990 in Paris ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Axel Michon mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . He has celebrated 15 single and one double victories on the Future Tour so far. On June 9, 2014, he broke through the top 200 in the world rankings for the first time in singles and he achieved his highest ranking in July 2014 with rank 177.

He made his Grand Slam debut in singles in May 2014 at the French Open , where he surprisingly beat Bradley Klahn in the first main round with a wildcard . In the following round he lost to Kevin Anderson straight in three sets.
