Ayman
Ayman (* 1974 in West Berlin as Ayman Toukabri ) is a German pop singer of Tunisian descent.
biography
Ayman grew up mostly in Berlin-Kreuzberg , but at the request of his father also spent three years at a boarding school in Tunisia. The "Triple M Team" discovered him in 1998 as a background singer . He sang in the background on the single pain in me by former tic-tac-toe singer Ricky . In the spring of 1999 he brought out his first own single, 1,000 times .
His breakthrough came in 2000 with the song Mein Stern . It reached number four in the German single charts , the top 20 in Austria and Switzerland . Other singles like Just a Night , Only Truth Counts and This Letter were also chart successes. Sean Combs became aware of Ayman in the same year and hired him as a support act .
After a successful year for Ayman began again with a new album Not only words in 2004, things grew quieter around him in the following years. In 2008 his third album Es ist Zeit was released . The single Mein Wort is the theme music for the new edition of the TV show Traumhochzeit . In 2010 Ayman released his fourth album Ein Mensch wie Du and recorded a single with Marianne Rosenberg .
