Bärbel brooch
Bärbel Broschat , b. Klepp (born November 2, 1957 in Magdeburg ) is a German athlete who - starting for the GDR - became world champion in the 400-meter hurdles in 1980 (54.55 s). That was her only success at an international high point. At the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles she could because of the boycott not participate in the GDR.
Bärbel Broschat started for SC Magdeburg and trained with Klaus Wübbenhorst . During her competition time she was 1.73 m tall and weighed 62 kg.
