Kim Batten

Kim Batten (born March 29, 1969 in McRae , USA) is an American athlete and runner-up in the Olympic Games.

Batten won the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg and the bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships in Athens .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , she won the silver medal in the 400 meter hurdles behind the Jamaican Deon Hemmings (gold) and ahead of the American Tonja Buford-Bailey (bronze).
