It rises under the name Ruisseau de la Fontaine de Triangle on the municipal boundary of Sepvret and Saint-Léger-de-la-Martinière , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows after 30 kilometers in the south-western municipality of Vernoux-sur-Boutonne , near the border to the neighboring municipality of Secondigné-sur-Belle , as a right tributary to the Boutonne .
