Boelingen
Bölingen is a district of the municipality Grafschaft in the district of Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate ( Germany ).
history
The place is first handed down as a Bullingshovin in the 13th century . Roman settlement finds (bricks and roof tiles) that were found in 1962 on the south-western edge of the village, however, already indicate a settlement in Roman times. Bölingen and Beller belonged to the Dingstuhl Ringen in the county of Neuenahr , which formed an office within the Duchy of Jülich from 1545 to the end of the 18th century . On the topographical survey of the Rhineland carried out between 1801 and 1828 under Jean Joseph Tranchot , the name of the place on the Tranchot map is Beulingen .
